To be more precise: a lot of bull coming your way from yours truly =)

Since I’ve decided to take on writing & illustrate a fantasy fic for mere personal pleasure (One that will include Naga) I was thinking: How do the naga open up their jaws so wide? After a bit of doodles it was so simple; give them the jaws of a snake! And so: The joints of the lower jaws of a naga are quite flexible, and see the line running from mouth to ear? Along it are extra folds of flexible skin that allow the jaw to open wide, when closing the jaw the extra skin folds inwards to be neatly hidden away within… leaving behind what looks like a thin scar on either side of their faces. .

I thought this is better then simply implying that they have stretchy cheeks… well what if they start to sag after excessive yawning and the naga ends up dragging his cheeks on the floor where ever he slithers?

PS. I drew this with my NEW Wacom!. My old one finally kicked the bucket last Wednesday, and my new one arrived today.

an interesting consept. what realy drew me to this though is the shading. that and i heart the profiles. one thing i need to work on. though i personaly thing full on views are the hardest.

YAY NEW TABLET! -throws streamers- Such a great thinker you are ^^ Altho that pic is a little destrubing. Yeah, desturbing is a good word for it XD Very cool tho. I wouldn't wanna get on any Naga's bad side >_> They wouldn't even have to bite me, all they'd have to do is open their mouths all the way and I'd run away screaming >_>
