It’s funny sometimes how you just work yourself to near death over a planned piece, fussing week after week over details and precision, but then might not get the result you hoped for once you’re done. Then one day you find a couple of free hours, you sit down and without a care in the world start doodling… then: 0_0 I’m SO pleased with this pic!

No story behind it… just a random blue Jak-ish character concept… but my, my, my… I think we might be seeing more of him in the future =)

Edit 1: He didn’t have a name at first, and the DA members suggested a couple of cool names, but after a bit of searching and shared thoughts it was narrowed down between Azzuro and Azul, both meaning "dark blue", I picked the one that sounded less like "Zorro": Azul.

Peeps, meet Azul! (I hope you agree with the choice)

After all I’m always very protective over my personal characters, this was the first time I posted one online and said “go ahead, do what you will with him” (save for naming him as your own char.design, of course) and Mfelizandy just went ahead and did it! Absolutely stunning. Just lovely. The shading, the colors, the background, it all comes together to make a truly amazing piece of work.
